Easter Monday
Day 21: Tuesday, April 14th
Directions: Today we will learn what Easter is actually about. Please read John 15: 12-14. John 13 gave us one example of how Jesus showed His love for His disciples—by washing their feet. Jesus loved in many ways throughout His life, culminating in the ultimate act of love—His death on the Cross. This is a key passage, because Jesus was commanding us to love each other just as He loved us. It is important that we remember that Christ laid down his life for us and we should be doing the same for others. Please answer this question: How does God show His love for you, and how has He loved you in the past? How will you love God? Please send me your response by Friday, April 17th.
Please find a quiet spot and pray by telling God you are thankful for what he has done in your life specifically and ask for wisdom when loving God in return.

Why do you think that the Jews were jealous? Also, how did the response of the Berean Jews differ from the response of the Thessalonian Jews? Your response must be submitted by Friday, April 24th.

Day 29: Friday, April 24th
Directions: Today we are going to focus on observing our Memory Passage. First, we will try to get to the meaning of a word, term, or phrase in our passage. Even if you have a basic understanding of a word or phrase, you can always learn more and develop a richer understanding of it.
Do you remember hearing the word “reasoned” in our Bible passage yesterday? When? (Our passage said that Paul reasoned with the Jews in Thessalonica and that he reasoned with the people in Athens.) Paul used reason and logic to talk to people about Christ. Please e-mail your responses by tonight at 10 p.m.
Please look up the definition of Reason and Logic. Then, answer the question: How can you use reason and logic to better serve God.
Find a quiet spot to have prayer time: Please pray how you can follow through and use reason and logic in your life to serve God.

Directions: When we trust in Christ as our Savior, we are justified by faith and have a right relationship with God, on the basis of Christ’s righteousness and not our own. Our relationship is secure in God’s love, and we are at peace with Him. Please read Romans 6:1-14. Please answer this question: What does it mean to be dead to sin, and alive in Christ? Please send me your responses by today at 10 p.m.
Day 35: Monday, May 4th
Directions: Music Monday!
Please watch "King of My Heart" by: Shane & Shane and Alex Kissinger

Please listen and reflect on this song by writing 5 sentences and please e-mail it by Friday, May 8th.
Day 36: Tuesday, May 5th
Topic: God knows and declares what will happen in the future. It should be no surprise then that God, our Creator, comes to us with a true story about reality. Among the many ways God presents himself to us in the Bible—King, Savior, Creator, for example—we could add storyteller. This is because God’s Word to us, the Bible, comes not as a textbook of doctrines, or list of moral teachings, or timeless wise sayings. It comes to us as a story. And not just any story. While some stories are fictional, or made-up, this story is true, and in this story, the truth about reality is revealed.
Directions: Please read Revelation 21:1-7 and answer the question- "God knows and declares what will happen in the future. Do you think that God can be surprised by things that are happening in our present day today? Why or why not?"
Please send me your response by Friday, May 8th.
Day 37: Wednesday, May 6th
Spiritual Emphasis Day
Day 38: Thursday, May 7th
Directions: Where the Bible’s story is going is the study of eschatology, which is literally “the study of last things” (the eschaton). And although the Bible has much to say about where its story is headed, the last book of the Bible, the book of Revelation, is the most sustained and detailed account of that ending. We should not be afraid of Jesus returning and taking his followers to eternity with him, rather we should be excited and looking forward to glorifying God in eternity where there are no tears, pain, sadness, or brokenness.
Please read Revelation 22:1-5 and answer the question- "In verse 5, it talks about how God will be our light and there will be no darkness or night when Jesus returns to take us home. What can we be doing today, as followers of Christ, to make sure we are being salt and light in the world?"
Please send me your response by Friday, May 8th.
Day 39: Friday, May 8th
Directions: These passages that we have been reading set the bookends to God’s story—a first Creation and then a final creation. God created the universe at the beginning of time, and He also will create a new heaven and new earth after the end times. The old heaven and earth will be done away with. The new earth will be a physical earth where believers in Christ will live with God for eternity.
Please answer the question: "God's word tells us to be ready to give an answer and response to why we believe in God. Why do you believe in God and what have you experienced that can be an example of God's faithfulness and love?"
Please send me your response today by 10 p.m.

Please send me your response by Friday, May 15th.
Day 42: Wednesday, May 13th

Please send me your response by Friday, May 15th.

Please doodle/draw on the piece of paper while listening to the worship song. Even if the song is over before the timer goes off, please keep drawing on the piece of paper. After 10 minutes, you can hang the piece of paper in your room to be reminded to stop and make time to listen and have quiet time.
Day 48: Thursday, May 21st
Directions: Goals! Today, I would like you to set 3 goals for yourself to achieve over the summer. Remember, these goals should be specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and timely.
